We make it easier and more affordable to build a custom space because we offer in-house design and building services. Usually, the design/architectural services are solicited outside of the general contracting company, which can create additional fees and complexities in the overall building process. We pride ourselves in offering design services and being able to integrate with other architects and engineers to create a seamless building process from Design to Build.
In-house Design
We like to design our own projects in house in order to seamlessly integrate the structural, mechanical, and visual components that make the perfect house for our clients. It removes any disconnect from the builder to the architect, when implementing from design to actual construction. This allows us to build on a better timeline and more cost effective for our clients. However, we have plenty of experience, and work sufficiently with architects and draftsmen throughout the Northern Colorado region. Ultimately, we want to support your ideas and desires, and will do our best to satisfy your building needs.
In House Excavation Services
We also provide In-House Excavation Services and well as Raw Land Development, helping with the overall building process.
By handling our own excavation, we ensure proper ground preparation and compaction, which are critical for a lasting and stable home structure. This eliminates the need for a costly third-party excavation subcontractor. Our expertise in site development, foundation excavation, utility lines, and grading not only enhances the quality and reliability of the project but also allows us to create a customized design tailored to each client's needs.
Meet Sam and Ashleigh Rudkin
Owners of RUDKIN DESIGN BUILD.
Sam was born and raised in Fort Collins, while Ashleigh was a transplant who landed in Colorado back in 2006. Sam and Ashleigh met at Colorado State University, married, and now have a young family. The Rudkins also have 13 Chickens, 7 Yaks, 4 Goats, 2 Cats, and 1 Trusty Farm Dog, Ruger.
They live and breathe the sweet fresh air of Northern Colorado country farm life. They live in a custom home they designed & built from the ground up in the Fort Collins Countryside.
Sam and Ashleigh are experts on the local real estate market, building codes and are well connected within the design and construction industry in Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, Greeley, Severance, Timnath and surrounding towns. Having both in-house expertise and a network of tried-and-true, reliable subcontractors sets the Rudkin team apart.
Sam has been working this business since he was 15 years old when he joined the company to work alongside his father, the original owner. Sam graduated from Colorado State University in 2014 with a degree in Construction Management. Ashleigh runs the RUDKIN office, and is also a northern Colorado realtor. Ashleigh added Real Estate to the mix back in 2021 to further serve their clients with help purchasing properties to renovate as well as land to build on. Sam and Ashleigh purchased the business in 2023 as second generation owners and have been serving Northern Colorado ever since. They both have a passion for carrying on the legacy that Sam's father started, providing design and construction services that customers can trust and enjoy for a lifetime.
